Please note, all types of leather and delicate materials - including metal accessor ies and hardware - are affected by humidity. Please take care to avoid direct contact with water, salt, heat, oil, grease, and alcohol, alongside any materials which may transfer color pigments onto your product.

Slight variations in appearance and finish are entirely normal for all natural materials.

Our luxurious leather soles are wor n with time and use, this is particularly applicable to pointed toe styles. We recommend rotating the pieces you wear each day to maximize their longevity.

METALLIC & PRINTED MATERIALS

Metallic and printed materials have a surface finish, meaning everyday wear and excessive abrasions can cause the finishing to be removed. Metallic and printed materials with a particularly smooth finish may develop wrinkles or creasing over time.

To clean, gent ly wipe with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth and dry immediately away from direct heat. Cleaning products and liquids containing solvents and alcohol should be avoided as these will remove the finish. Metallic and printed materials should be stored away from humidity and sources of heat.

SUEDE

How do I take care of my suede shoes?

  1. Seal the suede with suede protective spray to help repel dirt as well as prevent staining
  2. Let the suede breathe. Store in a cool and dry place. Do not store suede shoes in plastic containers.
  3. Avoid adding water or over exposure to direct sunlight (will fade suede)
  4. Clean your boots before the end of each season.

A soft rubber suede brush can be used to lightly clean away loose dirt however due to the delicate and fibrous quality of these materials we advise against rubbing too vigorously as this may result in damaging the surface appearance.

Please be aware, due to the nature of this material group, there may be a small amount of colour transfer with initial use.

SATIN

Before cleaning, brush away dirt with a soft bristle (ideally nylon) brush or dry rag. Gently blot any stains with a damp cloth. Follow the grain of the fabric and work your way up the shoe starting from the toes. Note that you should never use hot water on satin, as this can result in shrinkage.

DELICATE MATERIAL

Do not store your fur in a bag of any type. Bags reduce air flow and therefore circulation of moisture, which can speed up the drying out (biodegradation) of your fur. Bags can also

cause wear and broken hairs over time, at the points where it rests against the fur. For the same reason do not try to protect your fur from dust by hanging a piece of cloth over the shoulders. Use of garment bags is OK for short periods of time when you are specifically trying to protect your fur during TRAVEL.

DELICATE MATERIAL

Hang your fur away from heat sources such as radiators and heat vents. Heat can cause dry rotting. Dry rot is when the natural oils in the leather and hairs of the fur are evaporated, and the biodegradation process speeds up exponentially. Once the natural oils are depleted f rom a fur there is no way to replenish them.

Always remember:

  1. Allow your fur or other garments proper space in your closet
  2. Furs like cold, hate heat.
  3. Furs don't like friction or chemicals (perfumes, hairspray etc)

CRYSTAL APPLICATION

Always store your shoes in dust bags when not in use and ensure protective tissue or shoe sticks are utilized to help maintain their shape. Delicate embellishment s and metal hardware should be preserved using protective packaging whilst your shoes are in storage.

Our crystal-finished products are delicate by nature and should be handled with the utmost care. Due to our emphasis on artisanal process and craftsmanship these designs vary from piece to piece and are truly unique
